Background: Here we have an offering from the mezcal bottler, Nuestra Soledad. This bottle is named for the town in was distilled in. It is made from espadin maguey and distilled in a copper still by Gregorio Hernandez, Javier Nolasco Diaz, and Rafael Mendez Cruz.

Would I buy a bottle? No
Thoughts: Still working on getting my brain wrapped around mezcal. This seems to be a bit more on the standard offerings. Cream, brine and pepper. It’s plenty fine, but I’d probably hold off at $60 for a bottle and see if there is something a little more complex to get into. Maybe there isn’t though? We will see as I dive in deeper.
