Review #207 – Don Fulano Reposado

Review #207 – Don Fulano Reposado

Review #: 207
Description: Don Fulano Reposado
Spirit: Tequila

Background: Don Fulano uses some slightly different methods of making tequila than some bigger brands.  They use a mix of both copper column and copper pot stills to blend into most of their tequilas.  The reposado is also aged in older wine barrels for a minimum of 8 months before being blended together.  I would not say I’m a fan of tequila after some less than positive experiences, but I figured I needed to give some high quality ones a chance.  My last review was of the anejo and I was pleasantly surprised with it.  All Don Fulano products contain no additives.

DISCLAIMER: Don Fulano provided a free bottle for our group to taste alongside one of their brand ambassadors over zoom.

Would I buy a bottle? Yes

Thoughts: Again, I was really surprised and enjoyed this.  This was definitely a bit sweeter than the anejo, but seems like a great sipper sitting out on a warm summer evening.  I bet this makes some killer cocktails and I may actually look for a bottle of this to add to my bar.
