Nose – Pear, green apple, cinnamon, smells almost like an uncooked apple pie with some butter and dough note to it. Tons of sweet green apple (almost like a jolly rancher)
Taste – More green apple, digestive biscuit, maple butter. Rich and oily
Finish – Some more butter comes in, very dark chocolate, coffee beans, little bit of dark raspberry, clove

Would I buy a bottle? Yes (available for 95 GBP)
Thoughts: I don’t think I’ve had a scotch so appley on the nose, both raw and candy apple flavor. Then a rich mouthfeel and a great finish. Some might find it a bit too bitter but I thought there was a bit of chocolate and coffee flavor in there and then just a little bit of fruit came in to make it really enjoyable. Apparently this used some peated malt which probably adds to that bitter and dark chocolatey note that I really liked.
