Thoughts: Compared to other wine cask Octomores, this definitely tones down the dessert/sweetness aspect but not necessarily for the better. It has some good roasty notes to it, but just kinda falls flat when you break it down. The sauternes OBs really punch you with dessert like qualities but this kinda keeps the sweetness subdued but the smoke and oak still are also kinda mundane. Not bad but not worth the cost.
