Background: Doorly’s is one of the more budget aligned offerings from Foursquare distillery in Barbados. In the U.S., it is only sold at Total Wine. Without any dosage and I’ve seen it as cheap as $17, it is a highly attractive option for a pretty well aged house rum. So does the taste match the stats?

Taste – Caramel, vanilla, butter, banana
Finish – Light but there is some cinnamon-sugar and traces of tobacco leaf

Would I buy a bottle? Yes
Thoughts: This is a bit one-dimensional, but when you can get it for $17 if you have a Total Wine near you, this is perfect for a house bottle or to bring to a party and use in drinks. Who needs added sugar when this was still plenty sweet and will appeal to a lot of people.
