Background:

Distilled by Antonio “Conejo” Carlos Martinez from9 Year agave, ground by mill, roasted for 5 days, 15 day natural fermentation and 10 days in a wooden vat, double distilled in a clay pot still before being bottled by Maguey Melate

Nose – Lemon candy, ginger root, light berries, agave greeness
Taste – Lemon, earthy, cold spring water, very slight sweetness, a touch of salt
Finish – Peppery, salty, bell pepper, slight sour milk lingers

Score: 5
Would I buy a bottle? No

Thoughts: This was plenty fine.  The nose was nice and the taste refreshing.  Then in came some salt (not even brine) with some more vegetal notes.  Enjoyable but not remarkable.
