Background: This is a botanical gin coming out of Manifest Distilling out of Jacksonville, FL. It is made with over 25 botanicals from a wheat mash and bottled at a solid 45% ABV. This is from batch #20.

Nose – Vanilla cream, juniper, pine, fresh baked bread, white sugar, black pepper
Taste – Lots of lemon custard. Creamy, oily, and sweet citrus really dominate here. Tiny bit of black pepper and pie crust help keep it balanced.
Finish – Lemon starts turning a bit more sour (in a balanced way), black pepper, pine. The tartness balances the sweetness from the taste and dries up the palate a little bit.

Would I buy a bottle? Yes
Thoughts: This was really nice. The nose was packed with flavor but balanced. The taste was sweet without overbearing, and the finish was able to really round it out in a nice way. This is a great gin and works well in cocktails too.
