Background: This is from the 2021 Feis Ile release from Bruichladdich. Coming from a blend of 13 different casks it has 12 different vintages, 6 different barley types, 9 different cask types, and their first biodynamically grown barley. PX, Pauillac, Eaux de Vie, Sauternes, Rivesalts, and Chenin Blanc were used.

Nose – Pretty funky – toasted malt, lemon powder, burnt plastic, warm milk, sourdough, dry charcoal, coconut
Taste – Honey, vanilla syrup, pineapple, peach, coffee
Finish – Tropical fruit sticks around but gets grilled, light black pepper and malt
Score: 7
Would I buy a bottle? Think this was a couple hundred dollars. At that point, probably not.
Thoughts: Definitely interesting, but I kind of wanted the taste to follow the ridiculousness of the nose. Very pleasant and the tropical fruit was nice, but otherwise kind of sweet and straightforward.
