Background: Another bottling from the Dutch IB, this one was distilled on September 16th 2010 at Glen Spey. It was aged in a FF hogshead for 8 years before bottling on May 7th, 2019 without any coloring nor chillfiltration.

Nose – Toasted malt, dry lemon, very bourbony, faint vanilla cream, touch of fresh wood
Taste – Vanilla buttercream, sweet malt, sweet citrus, anise
Finish – Toasted bread, citrus starts to turn sour, bitterness that teeters on astringent, burnt matchstick

Would I buy a bottle? No
Thoughts: This was nice in the nose and the taste, if maybe a little straightforward. The finish is where it literally sours a little bit dancing back and forth along the line of being different and being distracting. At $60, I think there are better values.
